The definitive material creation tool, Substance, has been used by Twinbru for advanced material editing for a few years now. In partnership, Twinbru and Substance are working to translate existing physical fabrics into procedural digital twins, aiming to create a true “digital loom”.
This will alleviate challenges inherent to the use of scanned materials, such as texture map configurations, material size, and texture tiling. Furthermore, the two companies are also investigating ways on how workflows can be developed to enhance the replication of product colours on-screen.
